Polar King  announces that the company’s line of walk-in coolers and walk-in freezers successfully passed the rigorous testing required to gain Miami-Dade County product control approval. This means all Polar King products are designed to comply with the high-velocity hurricane zone of the Florida building code. Miami-Dade approval allows acceptance of a product for use within these high-velocity hurricane zones. This approval further demonstrates the quality of the seamless construction methods used to manufacture Polar King walk-in units.

Miami-Dade NOA No. 18-0516.05

Polar King manufactures walk-in coolers, freezers and refrigerated trailers in a variety of operating temperatures and sizes. All units are constructed with a polyisocyanurate rigid foam insulation encapsulated by fiberglass inside and out. This design method provides a continuous surface which keeps the insulated structure completely intact, free of moisture damage and bacteria formation. The seamless exterior also assures economical operation even in the most intense heat. Tested above 175°F, Polar King’s fiberglass design is the perfect fit for warm weather climates such as Florida.
